Headed by Executive Chef Chad Scott, Kitchen offers diners innovative American cuisine with moderately-priced menu items that range from traditional dishes with a twist to signature Kitchen inventions. Chef Scott, a Roanoke native who came to 202 Market from Atlanta after being recognized as one of Atlanta's top five young chefs, subscribes to a "simple, fresh, green and clean" philosophy on food, having worked in some of the country's hottest restaurants alongside lauded chefs.
Kitchen boasts two distinct dining areas. Seating on the main floor looks out onto a bustling Market Square with seasonal outdoor seating available and surrounds a stage for enjoying nighttime entertainment. A more intimate, formal dining area secluded from the main floor has been designed around the historic structure's warm brick arches.
An ample beverage selection featuring an extensive wine menu, made-to-order cocktails, signature and theme martinis, and microbrew beers is available with dinner.
202 Market is open six days a week (closed Mondays).
Tuesday thru Friday, we open at 4:30 and close late. Saturday and Sunday, we open at 5:00.
Our world-class kitchen starts dinner at 5:00 and serves until 10:00 (11:00 on Friday and Saturday). CityBar + The Loft remain open late and feature live music.
